The Running Game Technique
The aim of the Running Game tactic is to lure all your checkers into your home board and get them off as quick as you can. This strategy focuses on the pace of advancing your chips with no time spent to hit or barricade your competitor’s chips. The ideal time to employ this strategy is when you believe you can move your own chips quicker than your opponent does: when 1) you have a fewer pieces on the board; 2) all your pieces have past your competitor’s pieces; or 3) the opposing player does not employ the hitting or blocking plan.
The Blocking Game Technique
The primary aim of the blocking strategy, by the title, is to block the opponent’s pieces, temporarily, while not fretting about moving your chips rapidly. Once you have created the blockade for your opponent’s movement with a few pieces, you can shift your other pieces rapidly from the game board. The player should also have a good strategy when to back off and shift the checkers that you employed for blocking. The game gets intriguing when the opposition utilizes the same blocking strategy.
