The aim of a Backgammon match is to shift your checkers around the game board and get them from the board quicker than your competitor who works just as hard to do the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. Succeeding in a game in Backgammon needsrequires both tactics and luck. How far you can shift your chips is left to the numbers from tossing the dice, and how you move your pieces are decided on by your overall gambling techniques. The Running Game Strategy
The goal of the Running Game strategy is to bring all your chips into your inner board and bear them off as quick as you can. This tactic focuses on the speed of moving your checkers with little or no time spent to hit or stop your opponent’s pieces. The best time to use this technique is when you think you can move your own chips quicker than your opponent does: when 1) you have a fewer chips on the board; 2) all your pieces have moved beyond your opponent’s checkers; or 3) your opposing player does not use the hitting or blocking plan.
The Blocking Game Tactic
The primary aim of the blocking plan, by its name, is to block the competitor’s pieces, temporarily, while not fretting about shifting your chips rapidly. As soon as you have established the blockage for the opponent’s movement with a few chips, you can shift your other chips rapidly off the board. The player should also have a good strategy when to extract and move the pieces that you employed for the blockade. The game gets interesting when your competitor utilizes the same blocking strategy.
