The main goal of the blocking technique, by its name, is to block your competitor’s pieces, temporarily, not worrying about moving your chips quickly. After you’ve created the blockage for the opponent’s movement with a couple of chips, you can move your other checkers swiftly from the board. You really should also have a clear plan when to back off and shift the pieces that you used for blocking. The game gets intriguing when the opponent uses the same blocking tactic.
